Description
It was mid-century in America. Betty Crocker was as real as the flatware set that was used daily in homes across America in the late 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, including our home. Queen Bess II was introduced in 1946 by Oneida Community with their "Tudor Plate" trademark, offered as a Betty Crocker premium by households collecting coupons from boxes of General Mills products. Still very popular, Queen Bess II sets that belonged to our parents and grandparents can be supplemented, and missing pieces can be replaced. The pattern was manufactured with an additional layer of silver plate for reinforcement. This estate 83-piece set is in very good vintage condition. The vintage wooden ombré-painted case is in very good condition with noted interior felt lining showing light wear. Its twelve place settings and 11 serving pieces include: 12 Flat Handled Dinner Knives 12 Dinner Forks 12 Salad Forks 12 Round Bowl Soup Spoons 24 teaspoons 1 Jelly Server 1 Sugar Spoon 1 Master Butter Knife 1 Gravy Ladle 1 Cold Meat Fork 4 Solid Serving Spoons 1 Casserole Serving Spoon 1 Cake/Pie Server Vintage Wooden Flatware Case Shipped with UPS.
