Vintage I MAGNIN & Co. Silverplate Salad Spoon and Fork 14” Long Serving Utensils Set. Silver plated metal large salad serving fork and spoon in a modernist design produced for I. Magnin & Co. of California. The back of the handle of each utensil is impressed engraved with the retailer's name. The servers measure 14 inches long, their business ends are 3 inches wide in diameter. About the company: The now defunct I. Magnin & Company was a San Francisco, California-based high fashion and specialty goods luxury department store. Mary Ann Magnin founded the company in 1876 and named the chain after her husband, Isaac. CONDITION: Very nice vintage preowned used condition. Minimal pitting on the spoon and fork (see the last 2 photos) some tarnish on both pieces. Further cleaning is up to the purchaser. Nice luxury designer quality, hard to find and rare.
